Women’s world no.1 Nelly Korda cruised to her fourth consecutive win on the LPGA Tour after beating Ireland’s Leona Maguire 4&3 in the finals of the T-Mobile Match Play at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. The Professional Golfers Association (PGA) is strengthening its support for Prostate Cancer UK’s Big Golf Race with the aim to get more than 100 members across the UK pledging a free multi-round fourball to provide golfers easier access to conquer the 36, 72 or 100-hole challenge at their club. The changes to the World Handicap System that were announced towards the end of last year came into effect earlier this week [April 1], with golfers up and the down the country now able to enter scores for partially completed rounds, include scores from short courses, and have their scores adjusted when playing in bad weather, among the many updates to the system.
